1996-9 Wimbledon School of Art. BA(hons) Fine Art Painting
2001-2 University of Brighton. PGCE Art and Design- Secondary

I live and work in Brighton. I teach Art at a secondary school in West Sussex to 11 to 16 year olds. I also have a studio in Waltham St Lawrence, Berkshire at my family home. This is where my father sculptor Dick Budden works (see links page). I have held an Open House exhibition as a part of the Brighton Festival and an Open Studio for the Henley Arts Trail. I have taken part in group exhibitons in Bershire, Sussex and London.

My abstract paintings explore relationships between colours. Using saturated, clashing colours creates illusions of depth and movement. The result is a coloured pannel that dances before the eyes of the viewer.
